FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

HIGHLIGHTS

Welcome to Renewable Energy Conversion Materials Laboratory (RECML) at DGIST. As the carbon emission increases with the global warming by fossil-fuel-based feedstocks, there is an urgent demand to discover cutting-edge technologies to convert carbon dioxide into the renewable fuels and chemical products. Our mission is to develop electrocatalysts for efficient renewable energy conversion and long-term energy storage. We pursue to explore the electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (CO2RR), hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), carbon upgrading, and biomass conversion to produce value-added chemicals with high energy density. We aim to solve the energy and environmental issues by uniting the multidisciplinary research background from materials science & engineering and chemistry for the sustainable future.
